Personal Description:
I am a Subsurface Data Manager in Aberdeen just now and have several years of experience as an Earth science professional both locally and abroad. I am a Geologist and love to impart the knowledge I have garnered over the years by teaching and mentoring future Geologists and Earth scientists.
Teaching Experience:
I have at least 8 years of teaching and mentoring in Geology and Earth Science related subjects.
Tutoring Approach:
A student is attracted to a subject for different reasons. Firstly I try to understand the manner and level of interest. Armed with this I will structure my teaching module and depth to accommodate these. I use practical explanations and examples to drive home my points. Like that understanding of the subject matter will be less of a fuss, and the interest in the subject will increase thereby building confidence and knowledge in one swoop.
