Personal Description:
Coming from Academic plus Industry background, I am a university graduate, holding a degree in Electrical Engineering. I am currently studying towards the award of a PhD in Engineering. A perfectionist by nature, I tend not to give up until target is met.
I have been providing tuition in Physics and Maths, as well as preparing students for Entrance Exams at various levels. Teaching brings a sense of unique achievement, unlike any other profession. I enjoy Teaching and we both get along well and that is one of the major reasons that academia is what I have planned for my future as well. I consider myself to be a student-for-life, always eager and willing to learn from the learned.
I am highly computer proficient, boasting experience of hardware and software problem solving. From secondary education onwards, I have been awarded merit scholarships and fundings to continue my education, above high competition.

Tutoring Approach:
I try to build on strong rapport and teacher-student relationships. I go in lessons with a plan that is not only focused on filling their subject gaps but also in overall contribution to their development and thinking. My target is to enable the tutee to start feeling confident of his own skills and develop the art of being self-sufficient when it comes to studies. I encourage the student to first think about dealing with the problem, rather than going for help instantly. I try to question the student in ways to make him/her think about more than one approaches to answering problems. I invite them to use their imagination. Physics & Maths are my forte, and they are fun and interesting (most of the times!). And, in the end, I would say, I have not forgotten, I have been at your age once, and that helps a lot.
