Personal Description:
Hi! I am postgraduate student from City University London, Cass Business School, doing MSc in Actuarial Management. You can call me Doreen.
Just graduated from The University of Manchester, majoring BSc in Actuarial Science with Mathematics, achieving an Honour Degree in First Class, with a result average above 70 through the whole three years.
I did not do A-level but I learned the entire A-level course in Mathematics in my foundation year. And I got A* for Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Besides, I won the scholarship from The University of Manchester for awarding the excellent performance in Mathematics.
My purpose is to help student to get better results in exams. I believe with my help you will make a big progress both in your regular study and exams.
Teaching Experience:
I have a rich experience in teaching Mathematics and Madarin. By my constant help, a lot of tutee of mine have achieved great results in these two field.
I have tutored several students A-level maths.With my help they are not only achieving a great results in their final test and also understand maths by their own.
I have trained to be a PASS leader during the my study in The University of Manchester and have masterd the teaching methods and techniques which I believed a quilified tutor should capble of.
I am also a fluent Chinese speaker. With the experience of studying and using Chinese for 18 years, I assert I am a very qualified Mandarin teacher.
Tutoring Approach:
Always being very patient and well-prepared to my tutee is my motto in teaching.And another specialty of mine is that I am very good at problems solving, no matter what troubles it may appear during the study, I always can find a way to tackle it.Also my explanation is comprehensive and understandable.
