Personal Description:
I am a friendly, hard-working and professional mother of two. I am available during the day and evenings. I live in Banchory and have an office at Banchory Business Centre all set up for tutoring. I also offer online tutoring.
I am able to teach any subject at primary level and also Maths at secondary level, up to National 5
Teaching Experience:
I was a primary teacher in Aberdeenshire until recently, teaching children aged 4 - 12 all aspects of the curriculum. I have an excellent working knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence.
I have now been tutoring for over 10 yearsand have a number of tutees aged between 6 and 18. References would be available on request. I have a full disclosure.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that private tutoring is an excellent way to help your child achieve their potential in a way that cannot be done through traditional schooling. One-to-one lessons mean that emphasis is totally on your child's individual needs, abilities and aims.
