Personal Description:

I am enthusiastic about each subject and find that if children find the work interesting they will be more likely/willing to succeed. I have been teaching for 5 years full time and I am currently Lead Teacher for Business Studies & ICT. I have experience of working within different types of industry. I enjoy working with all types of people and am very approachable. I am available after 4pm most evenings.

Teaching Experience:

I currently teach ICT at GCSE level & Business Studies (various courses) at GCSE. You if require help with a particular course feel free to contact myself and i will let you know what experience if any I have in it. I have previously taught Business Studies at A-Level using a variety of exam boards.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe it is very important to make the work interesting & relevant as pupils have a higher chance of understanding a topic if they enjoy it. I have experience of working in many different types of industry & use this experience to teach as i can apply topics to real life. I believe in a laid back positive learning environment encouraging the pupil to take as much responsibility to learn as possible.

Obviously it is important that the pupil & tutor have a positive relationship and to ensure you are happy with my tutoring style. To ensure you feel no obligation the first session is free as long as it is from my home or within a reasonable distance.
