Personal Description:

I am a university graduate, having studied Biology and History at degree level.
I currently work in skills and qualifications development for the IT industry.
I am experienced, professional, and can cater to the specific needs of the pupil.



Teaching Experience:

I have been involved in teaching and educational support for children and the disabled for over 10 years.

This experience has included running after school classes, drama and music workshops, providing teaching assistance at science clubs, and teaching music.

I have worked for GCSE revision courses, university taster days and "Summer University" summer schemes with the Centre for Widening Participation and Social Inclusion at the University of Wales. I am also a qualified sports coach.



Tutoring Approach:

Whether you require exam revision, catch-up lessons, or simply struggling with the subject, your tuition sessions will be tailored to meet your needs. Every pupil learns in their own way and your tuition will be structured and reviewed to ensure that you achieve the most from it.

The frequency and number of sessions required will depend on your specific needs. I can commit to ensuring you get sufficient and regular sessions to prepare you fully.

On line tuition may be offered if appropriate. I am happy to tutor at my home in Central London or at your home.

As well as looking at the course material as laid out in the curriculum, I shall help you to ensure that your style of writing and presentation are to the necessary standard. I can offer assistance with spelling and vocabulary, as well as revision and exam techniques.
