Personal Description:

I'm a Spaniard living in London since 2000...time flies.

Love London and travelling..and most of all meeting new people from different parts of the world..and tutoring is a great way to do that!

Teaching Experience:

I am a qualified Teacher with QTS status. I have a degree in Psychology with a speciality in Communication and Education. In London I have worked as a Special Educational Needs teacher a challenging but rewarding job, and my experience with SEN has help me to understand the different needs of the students and the huge amount of possibilities in which you can teach something, and the fact that everyone is able to learn however unfeasible it might seem so have faith and come learn with me!
At present I am working as an A level Psychology Teacher on an online school preparing the pupils to achieve their maximum potential. I have experience in International A levels in the Edexcel Board and in A levels in Edexcel and AQA board.
In addition I work as a Spanish teacher in two primary schools in London teaching years 3 to 6.
I teach one to one and small groups tuition in Spanish ( GCSE and casual adult learners and A level/GCSE Psychology)

PSYCHOLOGY: I have extensive experience teaching A level Psychology for AQA, Edexcel, and international A levels through online platforms. My focus is on preparing students, both in small groups and individually, for their upcoming exams. To enhance their understanding, I incorporate practical examples and strive to connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications, making the subject more relatable.

In terms of exam preparation, I not only concentrate on content understanding but also on optimizing exam performance. I guide students through effective exam strategies, teaching them tricks to approach questions and score the maximum marks. Through rigorous practice sessions, we tackle exam-style questions, carefully evaluate responses, and iteratively refine answers based on constructive feedback.

The goal is to cultivate a level of proficiency where responding to exam questions becomes second nature for students. By consistently practicing, receiving feedback, and refining their approach, students not only develop a strong theoretical foundation but also the strategic skills necessary for success in psychology examinations.

SPANISH: I teach all levels-beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Whether you're looking to expand your vocabulary, delve deeper into the language, prepare for your GCSE, or simply get ready for a holiday.
When it comes to Spanish GCSE, I make sure students are well-prepared for exams by practicing questions and teaching them tricks to get the highest marks. We go through exam questions, check them, and practice again based on feedback to get as close to full marks as possible. This way, students get so used to it that answering questions becomes second nature.

First and foremost, I aim to figure out what the student needs, so I can tailor the course to your language requirements and specific learning goals. However, I always highlight the importance of communication, as that's the main purpose of language. My teaching approach changes based on your profile: inquiry-based learning, integrative learning, Direct Method (teaching directly through the foreign language). I always select a method that makes you feel at ease.

Among my teaching techniques, I incorporate debates on interesting topics, games, casual conversations, and writing exercises, and more.

Grammar is explained clearly and connected to the English language to avoid any confusion, especially concerning tenses. Pronunciation and vocabulary are addressed with the goal of enabling effective and confident conversations.y.
