Personal Description:

I am 23 years old and have spent the summer as an exam invigilator at Queen's Park High School Chester. I am looking at going into teching next year and I feel that one-on-one tuition will give me a valuable insight and help to prepare me well for the world of teaching.

Teaching Experience:

I have three younger brothers and have helped (and still do) them to achieve their full potential in examinations. I have helped them to pass the 11-plus exam and achieve entry to Wirral Grammar School for Boys. I have also helped two of them with their G.C.S.E's and am currently helping Mark in preparing his final year dissertation.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to create a blanace between a relaxed working environment and a studious approach. I believe that is vital to help the student understand the concepts and methods of how to prepare and sit examinations rather than simply presenting them with fact and figures. My aim is not just to provide students with the specific information needed for an exam but to provide them with the skills needed for sitting any academic exams.

Qualifications:

• Ba (Hons) History
• 4 A-Levels (History, Business Studies, Biology and General Studies)
• 10 G.C.S.E's (A-B), AS Level in Critical Thinking
• Key Skills (Communication, IT & Maths), Young Enterprise Business Scheme (Distinction)
