Personal Description:
I am a Graduate of Cambridge University and have a lot of experience in essay writing, grammar and exam technique. I love learning and encouraging others to learn. As I am a very patient person I can make learning as stress-free as possible.
Teaching Experience:
I have held both large and small learning conferences on sexual health issues as part of charity work at university. Also, I have taught a series of classroom lessons on similar topics. The feedback from these sessions showed that the pupils had enjoyed their lessons and were in fact requesting for the lessons to be repeated on a yearly basis.
My last tutee, after just 3 hours of tutoring, saw her coursework grade raise by 2 grades and her overall exam grade raise by 1 grade.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is to develop the tutee's confidence in their own ideas through open discourse and debate. As we progress we will look at essay writing skills and how to convey arguments correctly and persuasively. Depending on the progress of the individual tutee, we will create essay plans together, analyze previous essays and eventually I wil expect essays to be handed in for me to mark.
