Personal Description:
My name is Paul, and I was trained under Coventry University to HND level in Computing.
Teaching Experience:
I taught at South Birmingham College over a period of two years, covering a range of subjects including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher, etc.), Desktop Publishing, web page design, CLAIT, and ergonomics.
Employed as an IT Support Analyst for ten years with a Business Intelligence Consultancy providing staff with application training and support.
Available weekdays and weekday evenings. I may be available to tutor at weekends by prior arrangement.
Tutoring Approach:
I can provide tutoring at my home where I have a training room with two identical PCs preloaded with a range of applications. This allows me to demonstrate on one machine and allows the student to watch, and replicate on the other. In most cases course notes will be available for the student to take home. Tutoring at the students home is also available.
My aim is to act as a friendly guide and mentor for those who wants to take an enjoyable journey into discovering a new world.
