Personal Description:

I am an 18 year old girl who has recently completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at one of the top girl's schools in the country. I gained 10 A* at GCSE and I have just started my degree in Russian and Italian at University College, Oxford. I am friendly, and very patient and will always do my utmost to ensure that all necessary material is covered



Teaching Experience:

I am very new to the tutoring world, however, I do have experience with children as I was a form assistant to a class of year 5 girls. I helped them regularly with spelling, maths and other questions they might have had.



Tutoring Approach:

Learning should be fun. I truly believe that it is only when you enjoy something that you come to understand and appreciate the material you are studying. I aim to be a fun tutor who is incredibly approachable: the only way to learn is if you ask lots of questions, and by being friendly, dynamic, and enthusiastic, I hope to be able to inspire tutees to ask questions and start to enjoy subjects in which they might be lacking confidence. That word confidence is key. If people are confident in their ability, it inspires them to go that extra hurdle.

  • International Baccalaureate 6 subjects: Russian French Geography to higher level, Physics, Maths and English to standard level.
  • Total points: 44/45 IB diploma
