Information About Alexander:

Personal Description:

I come from a family with an Anglo - German and Russian roots. I read Modern Languages at Oxford and Law at King's College London. I traveled and taught widely and have been the co - founder of an online art gallery. My interests involve the connection between law and language.

I am 32, married to a French woman, have 1 child and live between London and Paris.

Teaching Experience:

Ever since I have been interested in teaching and the process of learning across all ages and levels.
I was the head of Russian and German at MPW (Mander Portman Woodward), London's top private 6th form college for the last 5 years, and have acted as a senior Language and Law tutor for GABBITAS Consultancy in London. I have taught at every level and for every age group, both individual students and groups.

My academic interests are flexible so that I can adapt to the needs of each student and take an individual approach to every case. I have a strong passion for teaching and can communicate well, which allows me to have good results and to make learning fruitful and fun.

Tutoring Approach:

I adopt a variety of methods which always depend on the type of my student, his background and his aim. I believe that teaching should be intelligent and that much monotonous work can be eliminated if the subject is taught at such a level that it is understood by the student. I aim to give a variety of examples and draw upon my rich experience in teaching across subject sectors and at all levels.
