Personal Description:
I am a geography graduate from Oxford University, currently working in Leeds as a transport planner while undertaking a masters degree part time. I tutor 2-3 times a week during evenings or at weekends.
Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring for 5 years at a variety of levels, from primary school through to A level standard. Everyone I have worked with has achieved their aims of higher grades, for personal satisfaction or in order to get the necessary marks for university entrance.
Tutoring Approach:
I offer a friendly and professional approach to tutoring, achieving consistent high grades, but also caring for those who may be struggling at any level. I have extensive experience with dyslexic and dyspraxic students, but have also worked with those working towards Oxbridge entrance. I appreciate that each student has a different approach to absorbing information, and so tailor my lessons using appropriate techniques to suit the individual. Lessons are relaxed, and we go at a pace the student feels comfortable with; if I can make learning fun as well, students are more likely to absorb information and so learn more.
