Personal Description:
I am a sincere tutor of English and Maths at all ages and stages and an experienced
Primary School teacher by day. Since I have had an entirely UK education,
I know the system well and can give knowledgeable career's advice.
Teaching Experience:
Presently I teach Year 5 at a respected Independent School in London. I have successfully
tutored all of the Primary and Secondary age range over the last 6 years and taught English
and CV development to adults in the past.
My specialism is in exam preparation for the 11+, SATs and GCSE's in English and Maths
and also in writing personal statements and coaching for interviews.
Tutoring Approach:
I quickly establish an excellent rapport with my tutees and get the best out of them
with my patient, understanding approach. I prepare well in order to make the most
of a one hour session, structuring it effectively and tailoring my approach to
meet your child's needs.
I seek to build confidence and self-esteem in my students and they enjoy my lessons
very much, as they feel motivated and engaged throughout. A friendly and caring approach,
along with high expectations, I have managed to achieve noticeable results in a short space
of time and have excellent references from parents.
As a bonus, I practise yoga, breathing and meditation as a part of my daily routine,
and can pass on relaxation techniques to prepare your child for any exams!
