I am a very hard-working individual who is easily motivated and always ready to adapt and learn new skills.I have over 12 years experience teaching from KS1 to KS5 including open university students. I also have over 17 years of tutoring experience.

As a part of my first degree, I developed essential and transferable scientific skills which I now teach my students. My project title was 'Synthesis and Biochemical Evaluation of Heat Shock Protein Hsp90 inhibitors on MCF-7 breast cancer cells'. I specialised on studies, on how drugs are discovered, developed and used to treat diseases. This gave me a deeper understanding of how the human body functions and how drugs can be used to treat problems associate to these functions.

My approach to teaching is to first find out my student's weaknesses and turn it into their strengths;I am a great believer in personalised teaching, so I produce my own resources such as short educative videos, mind maps, simplified flash cards on complex terms, to meet the needs of my students. I also like to bring the best out of my students by practically using every method available. I have been a teacher for many years having received my PGCE in 1992. Since that time I have worked in a variety of schools in the state and private sectors both in London and Oxfordshire. Teaching physics is a great privilege and pleasure having taught A Level physics for both OCR and Edexcel boards as well as GCSE and iGCSE physics and chemistry. I am currently in the process of creating an A-level OCR physics course for an Oxfordshire school which is both challenging and hugely rewarding as I know it will be used for the A-level students for years to come.
