In 2006 he received two nominations in the international Black and White Spider Awards for fine art and sport. As to tuition arrangements:

Firstly, we will discuss your goals and any areas where you particularly want to improve. We will plan the first lesson and I will inform you about some simple resources to be ready to start. We normally set up some homework to be submitted before the first lesson but this depends on the student's needs.

Subsequently I will enrol you into an online classroom designed for uploading resources, submitting homework and receiving specific feedback on it. The next step is our first lesson, where you will have a very active role and get practice, tips and continuous feedback. Following I will set you targeted homework to cement your knowledge. If after the first lesson you are not fully satisfied, you will get all the lesson fee back.

I follow the spiral learning approach and aim to review topics with my students several times to enhance their depth and long term retention of knowledge.

In addition to be keen on developing students' academic skills, I equally work on improving their attitudes towards learning, e.g. I train them to accept mistakes with a positive mindset, and use them as highly valuable learning experience in their journey. Alongside my academia I have also continued with sports, achieving the top level (Black Belt) in Choi Kwang Do and often watch football games.
In February 2020, I obtained my DBS certificate.
From October 2020, I have began giving hourly sessions for tutees both face-to-face and online, to help improve the knowledge of students and prepare for upcoming exams. I have conducted lessons over Zoom and Skype, and I am open to using other online platforms such as Microsoft Team.

Teaching Experience:
During my studies, I had worked as a teaching assistant for nearly 5 years aiding students in their mathematical studies. Under my guidance as a teaching assistant I have seen students excel their end of module tests in order to progress to the next level of their mathematical learning.

Teaching students of all ages and mathematical abilities. The lessons will be tailored to the students' needs and simplify the problem to their understanding by going through past papers; working on mathematical examples or approaching problems they have experienced in their studies.
Lessons will be conducted either at the student's home or an online platform that suits the student.

Personal Description:
I am passionate about my subject of science, and would be delighted to pass this passion on to you.

Teaching Experience:
I have three years' experience conducting tutorials in Materials Science at Cambridge University, having myself studied Natural Sciences there, including Physics and Chemistry.

In 2018, I taught the Maths and Physics component of the NCC International Foundation Programme for Engineers (of around GCSE/A-level level) at the Star Exeter language school.

Since then I have tutored Physics, Chemistry and Maths from KS3 up to A-level, and Biology to GCSE.

Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy showing you real-world applications of what we are studying. In our lessons, we will draw diagrams and break problems down into bite-size steps, and I will train you to ask yourself helpful questions such as "What do I already know?", "Is this a sensible answer?" and "Did I expect those units?".

I am used to sympathetically coaching young people in unfamiliar skills, having also been the principal teacher for a university folk dance club for five years.
