If students are working toward exams, I first seek to establish what a student feels his or her weaknesses are, and then focus tuition on areas or skills which will help them to plug the gaps or grow in strength and confidence. If more general support is needed, I will combine working with core material with a focus on ensuring that they have a solid grasp of the assessment objectives, question-types, and what the exam will look like, so that they can go into the exam confident and well-prepared. I also find that practice, practice, practice is essential, so we'll often work with past papers.

Tutoring Approach:
Teach­ing is a cre­ative job and this is why I enjoy it so much. It is very impor­tant to me to pre­pare my lessons carefully and make them inter­est­ing, dynamic, fun and of course tai­lored to the needs of each of my stu­dents. I like to use a vari­ety of teach­ing materi­als such as grammar book, books in Ital­ian, Ital­ian songs, games, videos, puzzles.
I like talking about music, art, books, currents events and more to make the conversation interesting and full of new informations.
Is also very important to me put into practice all the grammar learned and do conversation.
I like to pre­pare my own mate­r­ial and exer­cises following the topics. I always make sure stu­dents feel con­fi­dent about their skills and their abil­ity to speak Italian.
