I should warn you may fall in love with Russian language and may even dare to start an advanced course after which you are very likely to wake up one morning with a strong desire to see Bolshoi Ballet or fall asleep with "War and Peace" in your hands.

Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme. I covered all the main parts in terms of philology and diverse the lessons with curious facts about the country, traditions and customs. At the end of one term course, students had basic skills in reading and writing, they were able to introduce themselves and speak on common themes (hobbies, cuisine, travelling etc). I'm a writer, composer, director and artist, and prizewinning History finalist at the University of Oxford, with experience of a broad range of learning environments and teaching styles, and substantial industry experience in music and the creative arts. I enjoy teaching Russian, Writing Skills, Mathematics, Geometry and develop more advanced skills in design, modeling, drafting.
I also tutored advanced skills in AutoCAD for student professional standing. Skype connection or a call is efficient without travel.
It is not only me giving, so much effort shall be taken by the student to take it; and, it is only multiplied, when a parent is involved.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that open trustful communicative method is the best way to advance personal skills. I use a variety of activities and tasks to make sessions engaging but also challenging and productive. The lessons are tailored to agreed syllabus and your children's needs. Developing language skills is important, however, I am happy to be flexible and focus on what your child need timely first and most - whether it is: speaking or listening, reading or writing, thinking or actual design, improving pronunciation, vocabulary, or accounting.
A - art: Astronomy to Zoo, 3-months to 6 months dialogue-Art involving drawing, modelling, design and draft of House of My Dream.
B - bio: Biology to Yoga, 6-months to 9 months, (ideally year) environment based, observation and discovery research on Universe.
C - cad: Computer Aided Design, 1-month short (include BH) to 10-months intensive drawing skills from Brain's Hand to Digital PC.
D - DSL: Design to Production, dialogues based (seminarium) subject based instructions to develop own Design Skills Laboratory.

Personal Description:
I'm an experienced tutor from the UK, now pursuing my Master's degree in Communication Strategies.
I graduated from Queen Mary University London with a first class degree, and was selected to present my thesis at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research.
I believe that tutoring is the perfect tool to help learners achieve their goals, through 1:1 attention and in depth exploration.
