Hi, I have always had a love for languages and would love to instil you with the same enthusiasm. After having lived abroad as part of my degree, I then graduated with a BA Hons Degree Class 2.1 in Modern Languages (German, French and Italian), after which I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). After teaching, I also worked for International companies, using my languages extensively by liaising with customers and colleagues overseas and also translating and interpreting. I have always kept my languages fresh by reading foreign literature and keeping in touch with German / French friends. I am mother to 4 children, but even after my children were born, I continued to do some freelance translation. An outstanding Grammar High school Maths teacher, I teach Maths up to A-Levels and beyond and have been teaching for 10 years now.

Teaching Experience:
I am a fully qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) registered with UK National College of Teaching and Leadership. I work in an outstandingly high achieving Grammar school near London.

This reduces the burden from Maths and hence my students can focus on other subjects and achieve well holistically. (It's not about getting an A* just in Maths. I know that!!)

Tutoring Approach:
Teaching Pedagogy: The vast majority of One-2-One tutors simply 'turn-up-and-teach' without adequate preparation. Maths is mostly about 'understanding', and less about 'throw up facts'. A tutor gets ONE CHANCE to impart 'understanding' in a clear and coherent way. Not having prepared and risking an incomplete, confused or incoherent explanation instills confusion in the student, rather than confidence.

• Regular feedback and homework: Most tutors either set no homework at all or thoughtlessly set exercises from a textbook containing inappropriate questions. My homework is specifically written to complement the lesson, containing some questions designed for routine practice and some questions designed to challenge the student; encouraging them to 'think' and to develop their logical capacity.

• Exam Practice: I give students plenty of past paper practice - but only at the right time, once they have a deep understanding of all of the individual topics within the syllabus. Far too many tutors use exam papers to 'teach' from, which means they are setting papers when the student isn't ready: The upshot of that is the student's scores fluctuate wildly and their confidence is destroyed.
The lessons are invigorating, inspirational and cutting edge as I keep a very thorough hold on my subject.

I have been teaching art for nearly 20 years. I teach drawing, painting and sculpture. I also teach papier-mâché technique to make masks and puppets.

I am a professional Theatre Stage and Costume Designer (M.F.A. graduated in 2004), and I have worked in many theatre productions in UK and abroad, as a stage, set and costume designer as well as a puppet maker. Very often ,many people's only previous experience of learning a language has been at school ,where a great deal of emphasis was placed with the purpose of passing an examination .However, teaching approaches to modern language training have changed enormously in recent years ,and as a result ,learning a language is now a lot more fun and a far more rewarding experience!

Languages are now widely taught using a method known as the Communicative Approach or Direct Method, whereby the teacher conducts the session almost entirely in the target language regardless of the student's level. I reckon it is the best way to immerse yourself into a new culture.

Of course, depending on your level, I will still give explanations and instructions in English for those wishing to do so.

While it may take getting used to initially, the method has proven to be highly effective and is adopted by language training organisation around the world.

Teaching Experience:
I was an artist and tutor at the " World of Art" gallery in St. Petersburg from September 2015 to March 2016.

From May 2016 till November 2022 I worked as restorer of icon paintings with private art collectors.

From January 2023 to the present time I have been teaching offline portrait courses and pleinair paintings for adults.

Group format:
The biggest advantage of a group is its low cost. Groups are also suitable for those who are looking for new friends in a creative environment. You will not be deprived of attention, because I gather groups of 4-6 people.
You will not have to think about materials, because I will prepare everything myself.
The program is selected by age, with alternating topics, it will not be boring.

Personal lessons:
Here we can put any topic that is interesting for you. From a copy of your favorite artist to full preparation for an art college.
I give you the materials. If you want to become a fully equipped artist, I will give you a list of materials to buy on the Internet.
You will also have access to support in WhatsApp or another messenger. You can contact me with any creative questions.

Master classes and plein airs:
These are seasonal offers. Created for a change of activity and entertainment.
The master class lasts 2-2.5 hours. I conduct them before Christmas, Easter. In the summer, you can sign up for a plein air picnic.
Here you can create a gift, decor with your own hands. Spend time in nature, observe nature in an unusual way.

I am a Qualified Chartered Accountant with over 13 years of experience. I offer personalised, engaging, and reliable tutoring, focused on providing clear and supportive guidance to help students succeed.

Teaching Experience:
I have a vast experience of one to one teaching from 2010 to date. My expertise is in Accounting, taxation and finance.

I am also a member of ACCA and ICAEW and have been working in accountancy practices since 2006 helping clients to comply with their accounting and tax regulations.

My knowledge of the subject coupled with practical experience help the students to understand the topics in a better way and relate them to the practical world.

Tutoring Approach:
I think my job is not only to impart knowledge but also give confidence to the students by highlighting their abilities and skills and at the same time working on their weaknesses.

I was coaching a CIMA student and it was her last chance to pass that exam. I noticed that knowledge of the subject was not an issue.
