I trained as an actor at Arts Educational schools and have forty years experience working as an actor, director, writer and trainer. For ten years I worked as an audio director, directing many of the UK's leading actors in recordings of 150 audio books, poetry collections and drama. As a writer I have seen my plays produced in repertory theatre and by small touring companies and have also written for TV. I have been coaching people in presentation skills, acting and elocution since 2003. I teach young adults aged 18 and over and adults of any age.

I began my career as an actor-teacher, working for small theatre companies touring schools, often leading drama workshops on educational themes. I Utilize Various Teaching Skills and Techniques to Address Individual Needs -

Each learner is unique and absorbs information in their own way, so I apply various teaching strategies and techniques tailored to each individual. To illustrate my approach, I categorize learners into children and adults. Children typically have a limited attention span but are drawn to games, stories, songs, and rhymes, so I incorporate interactive activities of this nature into the classroom. This approach helps words and sentences to be absorbed more easily and naturally, keeping the children fully focused and engaged. Colourful flashcards are both enjoyable and effective. After providing guidance and demonstrations, I encourage young learners to creatively construct their own phrases and simple sentences. The children enjoy this process and perform exceptionally well.

To maintain motivation and inspiration among adult learners, I encourage and support them to take charge of the class. I help them engage in various thinking and communication exercises after they've understood the theoretical information and knowledge. Three weeks later I took a Chinese proficiency test and placed at mid-novice level (the test was aimed at people who had 120+ hours learning time, I had eight hours under my belt).
