I am currently a graduate student in Psychiatry at the University of Oxford. As a curious and driven learner, I am eager to teach what I have learned, as well as learn from those I teach.
I specialise in teaching Biology, Math and English until GCSE level, and as a fluent speaker of Mandarin I am also able to teach the language to younger students. I have worked with Oxford Tutors since October 2019, until the pandemic took its stride. I tutored briefly while studying in London for my undergraduate studies (Imperial College London). Hi, my name is Iman. I am Egyptian and a native Arabic speaker with 16 years of experience in teaching Arabic. I teach both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Egyptian dialect, and I also have experience in setting and marking exams for both.

Usually, I begin my teaching by assessing the students and discussing their objectives. From there, I discuss with them my tailored course plan.

I believe that teaching language and culture are inseparable.
