I have been particularly successful helping students to improve their GCSE grade, helping students improve on their mock result. I am fully upto date with the latest syllabus requirements.

Tutoring Approach:
I concentrate on working with the student's perceived weaknesses and on common exam mistakes. In the case of GCSE and A levels it is often the student who leads and asks for help with specific issues. Additionally, I always revise the main elements of the syllabus and give the student plenty of practice with examples of written work.

ART: I like to find out as much as I can about my students before beginning to teach them. I like to meet them and see their portfolios. I'm Chris, a 23 year old maths PhD student at Brunel University. I was originally granted a School Studentship to fund my studies but then soon after starting my research I was upgraded to an ESPRC grant. I study maths because I enjoy it, and enthusiasm to teach it comes part of this package. For A-level and higher I specialize in pure maths, so algebra, calculus etc so if you happen to be struggling with areas such as these then I'm your guy. Any level lower than A-level I will also be happy to help with.
