As to tuition arrangements:

Firstly, we will discuss your goals and any areas where you particularly want to improve. We will plan the first lesson and I will inform you about some simple resources to be ready to start. We normally set up some homework to be submitted before the first lesson but this depends on the student's needs.

Subsequently I will enrol you into an online classroom designed for uploading resources, submitting homework and receiving specific feedback on it. The next step is our first lesson, where you will have a very active role and get practice, tips and continuous feedback. Following I will set you targeted homework to cement your knowledge. If after the first lesson you are not fully satisfied, you will get all the lesson fee back.

I follow the spiral learning approach and aim to review topics with my students several times to enhance their depth and long term retention of knowledge.

I have been the Head of Accounting since 2006, at a large Catholic Sixth Form College in Hulme, Manchester. I am 46 years old, living in Didsbury, South Manchester. I gained my degree in Economics and Finance in 1998 from Leicester University. I began teaching in 2002 so have many years of experience teaching Accounting.

I mainly offer tuition at my home, or a local library, either at the weekend, or weekday evenings. However, I am usually able to offer tuition during the school/college holidays.

I completed my PGCE at Manchester University in 2002. I only teach Accounting AS and A2 Level, and this is therefore my main specialism. I came to the UK to do an MA at RADA in Writing and Directing for theatre. During the MA at RADA I wrote a one-woman show call "My Shrimp and I" that was premiered at the Lion and Unicorn during the Camden Fringe in August 2016.

I have also done private tutoring of drama and writing as well as acting and movement workshops.

I am a professional academic & writer, and I currently lecture on an MBA programme for a leading European institution, alongside co-managing a finance company. I am also a Research Officer.

I have taught for many years in both sports and business faculties, from A level to undergraduate, pre-Masters, Masters, MBA and PhD level. I have also presented at a number of European and international academic conferences and hold a PGCHE (Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in Higher Education). Hello - my name is David and I am a full-time professional tutor. I'm an experienced Maths Teacher, however I now tutor full-time. I specialise in tutoring A-level maths and also work with students at GCSE level who intend to study A-level Maths..

In the vast majority of cases students/parents are delighted with the quality of tuition and support offered. Tuition can be face-to-face or online.

Teaching Experience:
I've taught maths at various schools in the Nottingham area, specialising in A-level. I cover all A-level topics as well tutoring the Further Maths A-level syllabus. I work with students studying the AQA, Edexcel, OCR and OCR-MEI A-level specifications.

I am, of course, fully conversant with the new A-level specification (first taught from September 2017).

I have considerable experience of teaching maths at A-Level and GCSE.. In addition I have well over 10000 hours tutoring experience including online tuition.

Tutoring Approach:
I offer a friendly, effective and high quality Maths Tutoring service. My tuition is aimed at developing the student's depth of understanding and broader appreciation of mathematics. Students are strongly encouraged to develop an independent and inquiring approach to their learning. This, in my opinion, is by far the best preparation for A-level exam success and further study.

In addition I have considerable experience of tutoring adult learners who need help with maths in order to pass professional exams and progress their careers.

I am currently Head of Biology at a independent school where excellent results are expected. I have taught multiple specifications and fully understand the changes to the new specification and all parts of the course.

Tuition will take place in a classroom at the school I teach in.

I am delivering a full timetable online and have the resources to do the same one on one.

Teaching Experience:
I have been a full time teacher for 9 years and Head of Biology for 7 years.

Tutoring Approach:
As a teacher I understand parts of the course that pupils need extra help with and can coach efficient exam technique. I am comfortable teaching any part of the course for more bespoke sessions whereby there is a particular area to go over.
