Hello. I am a fully qualified teacher with experience across the whole of the primary curriculum, including special needs and teaching for SATS tests . I continually update my teaching, mainly through the National Education Union online training sessions. I have had great results tutoring children extensively on a 1-2-1 basis for SATS and the 11+ entrance exam, plus have experience teaching adult literacy and English as a Foreign Language. I became a practicing artist and researcher in the subject of Britishness and modern values since 2003. Working from my studio as well as researching . I am interested in culture diversity and community. I am quite focused on research and combining my work with strong evidence. English is essentially a skills based subject. Although there is a lot of content to learn at both GCSE and A level, students benefit from being able to access and flexibly use the techniques needed to study and criticize. I have committed the last twenty years of my life to education working as a private teacher in a variety of schools and colleges - teaching an eclectic range of pupils; from special needs students to scholars to adults. I am particularly committed to building confidence and skills in pupils whom may not feel they fit the typical mould.

I'm current a Licensed teacher with Bexley Music Service and have taught at a variety of schools over a period of twenty years including; Eltham College, Bexley Grammar School and a variety of secondary and primary schools.

I am SEN trained in the areas of Dyslexia (Language), Dyscalculia (Math), Attention (ADD/ADHD), Dysgraphia (Handwriting) and Autism and am a qualified remedial therapist (Davis Facilitator).

I am a Whole Brain Practitioner with the Kobus Neethling Institution. I also have a Finance Degree and Art Therapy background.

Over the past 10 years, I have owned numerous Maths and English Reading Centres and have worked with hundreds of children. I have specialised knowledge in eye kinetic, perception development, learning and behavioural difficulties.

Teaching Experience:
During my years of owning my Maths, Langauge and Reading centres, I have worked with hundreds of children. Most of the children that I worked with were struggling before working with me, but sometimes I got children who were very bright but were not reaching their full potential. I have a special interest in Giftedness and was able to extend those children and make them exceptional.

Early on in my working career, I worked in Investment Banking in London and internationally, before changing careers to teaching, focusing on remedial therapy.

I practice now as a specialised remedial therapist (SEN) and focus on learning and behavioral issues.

I make a huge effort with every person I work with and really connect with them.

I like to use various mediums, games and methods to make the learning experience more enjoyable and help the information to embed more easily. It is sometimes necessary to build a concept in a 3-dimensional format, before working through methodology on paper.

I enjoyed working with children, so I quit my job as an engineer, to be a teacher. I offer premium tutoring services that go beyond academics to support the full development of each child. With experience teaching in London secondary schools and founding a school in Sri Lanka for underserved communities, I bring a rare blend of educational rigour, global awareness, and deep compassion to my work.

I am a fully qualified Maths teacher (QTS) with extensive experience teaching at London's leading Outstanding-rated secondary schools. I have taught across a wide range of year groups, from Year 7 to Year 13, and have a proven track record of helping students succeed in both GCSE and A-Level Maths.

In addition to my classroom teaching, I have worked as a private tutor and governess for students of all ages and abilities, including private households and those needing tailored support. Hi! My name is Jessica, and I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Kent. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working within the education and healthcare sectors, primarily focusing on supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). My professional journey has been dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences and overall wellbeing of children and adolescents, and I hope to continue doing this through my work tutoring children and young people here.

Teaching Experience:
As a former Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, I supported therapists in running language groups and worked directly with children 1-1 to improve their communication, comprehension, verbal and written skills.
