I am an MFL teacher with bags of enthusiasm and an immense passion for education and children. I currently work part-time in a secondary school in Surrey, and have previously in a Boys Grammar School in North Kent, as well as having enjoyed spells living in Quebec and Aix-en-Provence in the past. I believe that learning needs to be achievable in order to increase confidence, this is especially true at the beginning of the tuition when I try to pitch the activities at the right level, before extending the student's further. .

I use zoom for online teaching, which enables me to share my screen, including for the purpose of watching videos or listening to extracts. After the lesson, I send the main exercise(s) completed by the student alongside useful annotations, which can be kept for future revision (screen images).

This is accompanied by a personalised report after each class including homework to consolidate any weak area highlighted during the lesson. This is very much appreciated by parents and students, creating a thread between lessons.
