Tutoring Approach:
The communicative approach centered in developing students' skills and abilities is my preferred tutoring approach, but it depends on the students needs. Every Spanish lesson is customized on student progress, purpose and needs. I offer a high level of flexibility in terms of timing as I am available to give out lessons every day from 8 am to 11 pm weekends included. If you can't have your lesson in the same day every week I can arrange your lessons time by time at your convenience.
Students receive all the stuff they need to study Spanish (grammar, exercises, practice) in advance and there is a hard job behind that. If you study Spanish with me you don't spend a penny to buy books, audio-videos or other stuff.Also I run a After school club for kids.

I teach Spanish by developing written materials according to an individual learner`s needs.
I use materials of different types in order to make each lesson interesting and beneficial, including videos from Spanish websites, audio tracks, dictations and games.

If you can't attend a class, please advice 24 hours in advance and I will offer you to re-arrange your lesson for another day.

I do not have any official qualifications in Italian, however my background in romance languages (Italian is a Latin-based language which, broadly speaking, I find to have a very similar vocabulary to Spanish with the grammar of French!) and my methodical nature means I would ensure that every lesson is thoroughly planned and carefully checked; I would never teach you anything I am unsure of, as this can be greatly detrimental. I am not available to help with exam preparation for Italian or to teach more advanced levels. I believe that teaching is an art. Everyone has the potential to learn, regardless of mental hindrances. In my view, the role of a teacher is to understand both the limitations and strengths of each pupil and tailor a unique course accordingly.
The most essential requirement for a pupil is passion and the willingness to learn; the rest is the teacher's responsibility.
I started teaching Spanish as a means of earning a living when I first came to the UK in 1973. Ever since then, it has always been a source of income. I am a professional painter, but selling paintings is not a reliable form of income. I have excellent references from former students that I can provide on request.
