I did Spanish Studies as a degree in Huelva (near Seville), and later enrolled in an MA for Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language in my home town, Granada. I then moved to the UK to work as an Assistant Teacher of Spanish in London, which led me to taking the PGCE course and acquiring Qualified Teacher Status. I am currently a teacher of Spanish at Secondary level in inner Birmingham.

Hello my name is Anne-Marie, I am from Ireland but have been living in the UK since 2004. This is now a place I call home. I realised I had a flare for imparting knowledge when I became a basketball trainer at 15, working with Primary and Secondary pupils. I'm a translator and have studied English my entire life. I love travelling, leaving abroad and learning/teaching languages!

Teaching Experience:
I'm currently working as a Spanish Teaching Assistant in the UK. My goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed environment where students feel confident practicing their speaking skills and improving their pronunciation.

Tutoring Approach:
My classes are practical, dynamic, and relaxed. I believe the best way to learn a language is by having fun and feeling confident throughout the process. Each lesson can be fully adapted to the student's needs-whether that's preparing for a job interview, improving conversational skills, refining pronunciation, or focusing on specific areas they want to strengthen.
