Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. I studied a course in teaching Spanish in the summer courses for foreign teachers organised by the University of Zaragoza.
I started my teaching career in 2002 giving individual lessons. It helped me to receive experience in lesson planning, providing didactic materials, developing communicative skills of students and attending to their interests and requirements.
I completed a PGCE course at University of Winchester and worked as a School Direct trainee teacher at Westgate School in Winchester from September 2021 until June 2022. I taught Spanish and French in years 7-11, planning and delivering lessons, carrying out assessment and marking, preparing pupils for their GCSE examinations.
As a tutor, I helped students to prepare for their A Level examinations which enabled them to receive highest marks.

Tutoring Approach:
I give individual and group lessons according to the requirements of my students. The duration may vary from 1 to 3 hours, where I combine conversational practice with grammar, I usually include all aspects of language learning such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. My principal aim is to achieve effective communication in the language I teach. I stick to the principle: learning is fun. There should not be any boredom in the classroom. Every lesson is supposed to be enjoyable and provide more resources for the motivation of the students and me as a teacher. I have mastered certain techniques necessary for teaching online. I have made myself familiar with a broad range of online resources and electronic educational material. I am open to suggestions and flexible in my schedule. I am also very patient and understanding. Learning foreign languages is a challenging, laborious process which with some dedication can become very rewarding and I am proud to contribute to it.
