I am married, with one son and stepson. I am originally from the Nottinghamshire area and moved back to the East Midlands two years ago to settle in Ilkeston with my family.

I studied at Huddersfield University as a mature student and achieved both a B.Sc and an M.Sc in Behavioural Sciences, which is a joint degree in Sociology and Psychology. I also hold the PGCE Teaching qualification which qualifies me to teach Psychology and Sociology in both private and group tuition.

My strengths lie in the ability to directly relate Sociology and Psychology theory to students experiences as a means of enhancing their understanding of the subject matter. I also have the ability to teach learners up to university level.

I am a female primary school teacher in the Doncaster/Wakefield area. We had some regular visitors who were dealing with mental health difficulties which especially allowed me to grow my compassion.
