I would like to share my passion for languages and Maths by teaching other children and assist them with their school work / studies.

Teaching Experience:
Not only do I tutor my own children and help them with their school work, but I teach my family friends children too.
In Tajikistan, I used to do babysitting part time which involved having study sessions with the kids after dinner. This involved tutoring and aiding them with their day-to-day homework in various subjects such as: Russian, Maths, History and Art.

Tutoring Approach:
I'm confident in taking lessons online as long as it's through video. My teaching approach is very interactive and only through facial expressions, can I truly see if my tutees are understanding the topics / subjects I'm covering.
My prior experience in babysitting and also having three children has taught me not only patience, but compassion and understanding. I maintain a positive and encouraging attitude at all times, so that my tutees also feel confident and are able to ask me questions without feeling intimidated. I'm also very organised and will come prepared for each lesson to ensure I make the most of the time I have with my tutee.

I grew up in Russia, got my Bachelor's degree in St Petersburg (Regional Studies, Central and Eastern Europe) and after this I made a life changing decision to move to the UK.
I know what the language barrier is. I experienced the difficulties of moving into a new country and accepting a new culture.
I will be happy to become your learning companion and make your learning journey smooth.
I never stop learning myself. I work as an interpreter and, therefore, I constantly expand my knowledge in different spheres of life.

I have experience in tutoring beginner's Russian and I am happy to continue helping others learn this amazing language. Beginner's level is the foundation of your future success in communication.

My professional experience in the UK covers a great range of topics for discussions (finance, insurance, travel) which will boost your confidence in speaking. I will guide you through the correct and appropriate use of grammar structures. You will get invaluable advice on how to improve your writing skills too!

Relax and enjoy learning! I would like us to speak the same language, and in this case - Russian. At your own pace, practise what you learn. I will provide support and clear explanations in English. I try to tailor lessons to your interests, so that your memory works better by easily absorbing vocabulary and grammar structures. Why not to learn how to say "Let's do it!" by singing a song, or memorize days of the week in Russian by reading a bed time story from your childhood?
