Personal Description:
I am a native Russian speaker and a qualified Teacher with an MA from St Petersburg State University. I come from St Petersburg in Russia and have lived in the UK for 20 years. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and National Register of Public Service Interpreters. I conduct oral GCSE and A level Russian exams in schools. And my students normally get a full set of top marks each year. I can also prepare students for Russian state exams.
Teaching Experience:
I have 24 years experience as a teacher, teaching privately and at schools. My Skype students get top marks Russian GCSE and A level exams as a rule. I worked in Russian School Znaniye in Oxford with 3-4 year olds. I can teach all levels. I can help with preparation for Russian state exams for people willing to work in Russia. I taught Russian at the University of Birmingham in 2020-2021 and 2022-2023.
Tutoring Approach:
I develop all aspects of language learning: reading, writing, listening, grammar, phonetics etc. I use both English and Russian materials and can source materials. I have materials for Russian state exams and I work with British and Russian companies who supply text books for learning Russian.
