I have an MA in Classical Philology and Russian Studies from the University of St Petersburg and am qualified to teach Russian, French, English and Latin. Since graduating in 1978 I have worked extensively in language teaching and translation / interpreting. I have also worked in France for 3 years and attended an interpreting school in Paris (ISIT - Institut Superieur d' Interpretation et de Traduction). I have been teaching languages for more than 8 years. My specialisation is teaching adults. I am proud to say that I am truly passionate about my profession and what I do. Prior to moving to the UK, I was teaching English. I also have experience in preparing students for examinations at the University of Edinburgh.

I try to advance in my profession, constantly improving my materials, skills, methods, techniques, and knowledge. I make my own materials, flashcards and exercises. I also dedicate a fair amount of time to learning new methods, techniques and self-improving.

Place. I can offer one-to-one Russian language lessons in Dunfermline and online tutoring (via Skype) as well.
Materials. Books and resources are provided by me. You will also receive digital and/or printed materials and assignments. My students have access to my custom grammar and vocabulary flashcards for every lesson, that help you learn and memorise words more effectively. I am also collecting useful resources and websites, and I am happy to share that collection with you.
