I am a qualified teacher having been awarded a PGCE from the University of Cambridge. I also have a First Class Bachelors degree. I previously taught at Queen's College Preparatory School, London and now teach online for Eton College. I am a member of the professional body for tutors.

I've been tutoring Maths, Science and English since 2007, for ages 5 to 50. However, I mostly help teenagers with their SATs, GCSEs and A Levels.

Maths, Science and English are the three main subjects that people tend to want tutoring in. (Actually it's five subjects if you break the Science down into Biology, Chemistry and Physics.)

I developed a love for reading at an early age, which eventually expanded to writing as well, and which led me to study English Literature and Creative Writing at university. I started off teaching English in Japan, but through a strange turn of events ended up in the Financial Industry, where I worked for over a decade. I am a raising attainment adviser for a local authority and have been involved in borough wide school improvement for several years. I have developed outstanding teaching practice and leadership skills throughout Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I am an experienced EYFS Leader and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator and a Specialist Leader of Education for Early Years. As an Assistant Headteacher, I have supported other teachers and been a Newly Qualified Teacher mentor and performance appraiser.
