Combining motivational coaching techniques, I offer a uniquely engaging, personally attuned service. The first lesson typically consists of a complimentary educational assessment (usually 30 minutes) to help identify key areas for improvement . All results can be shared with the parent/guardian. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding. I believe that students make the greatest progress when they feel confident in their abilities and are actively involved in their learning.

My lessons are interactive and engaging, combining clear explanations of complex psychological concepts with discussion, retrieval practice, knowledge checks and exam-style questions. I regularly assess understanding and adapt my teaching to address misconceptions and close gaps in knowledge.

As an experienced AQA examiner, I place particular emphasis on exam technique and developing the skills needed to achieve top grades. I help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for, how to interpret questions, structure effective essays and develop sophisticated evaluation skills. I also provide detailed, constructive feedback so students know precisely how to improve.

I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond simply delivering content. My aim is to equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to become independent learners who can approach their examinations feeling well-prepared.
