Combining motivational coaching techniques, I offer a uniquely engaging, personally attuned service. The first lesson typically consists of a complimentary educational assessment (usually 30 minutes) to help identify key areas for improvement . All results can be shared with the parent/guardian. I'm a certified teacher working as a tutor for students in Norfolk and across the UK. In university I completed a specialist in psychology, while also minoring in English literature. I started working as a tutor in London and Surrey in 2013/2014, mainly for students who had been excluded from school. In 2015 I relocated and began tutoring private clients in East Anglia. In 2016 I started offering online tuition, first using Skype, and now with Zoom. I have been teaching Psychology for 17 years. I have taught in both schools and standalone sixth form colleges. I have been an assistant Head of Department for a very large Psychology Department and I have also been a Head of Department in a school. My Psychology students have achieved marks well above the national standard. I am also an examiner for AQA Psychology. This has given me expert knowledge of exactly how to interpret and answer questions in order to gain full marks. I have taught AS, A2 and GCSE Psychology for AQA, aswell as AS for OCR.

Tutoring Approach:
I have an exam question orientated approach as being able to interpret questions is vital. If you don't know what they are asking of you, how can you answer it properly? We will take your class notes and use them to construct the perfect exam answers. I will set you work to complete, which I will then mark and provide you with constructive feedback at the start of each session. In addition to you own notes I can supply you with new resources, workbooks and revision packs.

I am a Doctor of Psychology with a research and teaching experience at university for B.A. and M.A. and Ph.D. level students and professionals.
