I have been a teacher for many years having received my PGCE in 1992. Since that time I have worked in a variety of schools in the state and private sectors both in London and Oxfordshire. I started my career as a Chemical Engineer and completed my PhD in that subject.

I have a passion for my degree and I think that the joy of physical science problem solving is one that can be easily lost in a school environment. Empathy and Understanding: Having recently been in the shoes of a student, I understand the challenges and pressures they face. I approach tutoring with empathy, patience, and a willingness to adapt to each student's unique learning style.

I will follow a systematic method of teaching which will include finding out what they are struggling with and helping them through the curriculum alongside what they are learning at school. This will be accompanied by worked examples, practice questions, and past paper questions to help them grow in confidence when it comes to exams and assessments
