These subjects don't have to be the impenetrable list of technicalities they are often portrayed as!

However, this shouldn't be taken as a cause for despair - far from it! After graduating with a Mathematics degree I worked at the University of Manchester for a number of years and also gained an Msc in Epidemiology (Medical Statistics). I have gained most of my practical teaching experience from my time in the NHS, where I worked as an information specialist.
