Many of my students who previously had lost their passion for Maths and Physics, go on to take these subjects to a further level. I am a PhD mathematician, with a special interest in applied mathematics and statistics. I worked for some years in University departments as a tutor and then lecturer. More recently I have worked for almost two decades in industry as a mathematician at a prestigious research centre in Cambridge. I will first see what the student finds most difficult and what their weaknesses are and then strive to overcome them. Some may learn visually with experiments or examples whereas others will learn through trial and improvement of their own. - how to manage time in exams

- lots and lots of practice

I have lots of experience teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-level pupils in both mainstream and private schools in the UK. I have taught Science subjects ( Physics, chemistry, and Biology) to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students, preparing them for GCSE and A level exams.

I am an experienced qualified teacher. Tutoring Approach:
I use powepoint to teach my lessons. I always make sure my students understand the main concepts first and close the gaps in their knowkedge. I then apply their knowledge to different exam questions to make them confident in answeing exam problems.
