I have a dual background in Electrical Engineering and Psychology and retired in 2007 after 20 years as a University lecturer. At different stages in my career I have taught telecommunications engineering, computer programming, software engineering, artificial intelligence and psychology. During the last two decades I have worked with many hundreds of students and have read research studies from academics around the world on the subject of attainment in mathematics. My own experience is in keeping with all the studies I have read about this topic. The overwhelming majority of students can do well in mathematics provided they have the confidence, the techniques and willingness to work hard. Even after only six to eight weeks of tuition, all the students I have tutored have improved by at least one grade or one level.

I tell all prospective pupils there is no magic bullet or shortcut. To achieve success in mathematics a few things are key: understanding the concept well; understanding when and how to apply it in different situations; lots of practice in applying it in different scenarios and short, regular revision sessions. Teaching Experience:
I have a few months of tutoring experience working with secondary school children during my A-Levels, I was selected as a physics mentor at the Liverpool Blue Coat school. I have university level teaching experience gained through tutoring my brother who is also a university physics student. I can guarantee that I will be able to deliver high quality lessons to your son/daughter if I am their tutor.

Tutoring Approach:
Often students don't understand a topic simply because the teacher hasn't put it into language the student understands. I do my best to convey ideas in clear and simple language to cut to the essence of the topic. As a current student the struggles and pitfalls of learning are very fresh so I can help someone else avoid the same issues.
I believe in STEM subjects the most important and useful way to improve is to practise a lot of questions and this will be my main method of tuition. Your child and I will discuss concepts and then apply them to concrete problems during the sessions. I will then provide some homework questions that they should attempt in their own time and will always provide complete worked solutions to all homework set by me.

My Name is Haemin. Recently, I have recently moved from London to Cramlington and I would like to continue private tuitions in the areas I have experiences. I have passions on Maths and related subjects such as Physics and Computer sciences, During the last few years I have been working with a number of Private Tutorial Institutions and still I am registered with them. Usually, they provide me students in these areas of my expertise. I have published a number of Youtube lectures in some interesting areas that A-Level and graduate students may benefit from them, I can still find big potential in my self to deliver to mainly A level students and some areas at graduate levels.

Teaching Experience:
I have more that 25 years experience in teaching in the subjects of Maths, Computer Science and Physics at A level and some degree levels. I assume myself as highly experienced teacher. During these years I have worked (full time or part time) in State schools and private colleges and also private tuitions. I enjoy teaching and delivering whatever my brain has to new generation, My Energy is endless in this work and especially privately and with small group of students

Tutoring Approach:
My approaches in teaching and tutoring are very flexible depending on the needs and ways the students would like. This enables me to deliver. Always I attempt to make the topics as enjoyable as possible, as practical as possible, as realistic as possible, etc. Especially, nowadays and through the lockdown time and using online. Through, online: presentation on the topics can be animated and decorated to enable deep penetration to the brain of the students. Personal Description:
I live with my wife in Tooting, London. We have two children, one at Manchester University, the other graduated from Leeds University. I am a keen cyclist, bass guitar player and physics enthusiast!

Teaching Experience:
I have 28 years experience in a Wandsworth secondary school teaching science at KS3 and KS4, and physics from KS3 through GCSE to A level. I have taught AQA GCSE Trilogy Science, AQA GCSE Physics, AQA and OCR A Level Physics and Edexcel BTEC Applied Science physics. As Head of Physics I am responsible for how the curriculum is delivered and also for examination results, for which I have a long track record of success. Outside of this role I have tutored students one-to-one at both GCSE and A Level.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to begin with a discussion of what areas of the curriculum to focus on, including subject areas and skills (eg rearranging equations, or long-answer questions etc) together with what learning styles work best - question-based or understanding fundamental ideas, or practicing calculations for example. I will then be able to offer a tailored program of physics tutoring, which we can modify and adapt according to need.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for 6 years in a highly diverse Secondary school in Ealing. I teach Triple and Combined Biology GCSE (exam board Edexcel, but can also teach AQA) and A level Biology (exam board Edexcel A), and Physics and Chemistry Combined Science GCSE. I have taught both Foundation and Higher level GCSE and have experience teaching SEN students.

Tutoring Approach:
I am an energetic person who loves to be creative while teaching. I would approach teaching in different ways so I can ascertain the best approach for the tutee. We will focus on content, exam questions using examiner reports and past papers, and revision techniques. I like to keep a positive vibe during sessions, so that the person feels good about themselves and what they are learning.
