Once completing my masters degree I worked in industry for 3 years doing blue sky research for BAE SYSTEMS. I have gained most of my practical teaching experience from my time in the NHS, where I worked as an information specialist. In 2018 I set up my own training and consultancy business which aimed to teach, train and support staff at all levels in their use of data and I subsequently was awarded the Northern Enterprise Awards "Best analytics and research training provider - Yorkshire" in 2021.

While I am happy to meet face to face, I find that online tutoring works equally well and has the advantage of being able to record sessions that can be used by the student when revising.
