This tutoring approach is highly personalized. I begin by discussing with students the topics they need the most help with. Then, I plan and structure each lesson to make the best use of our time.The lesson follows a clear structure:Topic Exploration: We'll thoroughly go over the subject until you feel confident.Guided Practice: I'll give you practice questions tailored to your exam board and help you through them.Independent Practice: You'll then try some questions on your own.Homework: I'll provide questions to work on at home, along with a mark scheme.Review: In our next session, we'll go over any homework questions you found tricky or need more practice with.

Personal Description:
As a recently retired Chartered Engineer I'm looking to help students to improve, and gain confidence in, their maths or science skills. This might be helping with subjects that the student finds difficult, catching up with missed work, assisting with coursework, or stretching a budding genius

Teaching Experience:
I have been providing personal tuition to students for about 10 years. I only take on a couple of students at a time so that I can spend enough time with them. Most of my students have come to me through word of mouth.
