I did my O levels and A levels at school in Penarth, and went on to gain a Physics degree from Imperial College London, and a Masters degree in engineering from Cornell University in New York State. After many years as an engineer for high technology companies in the UK and the US, I returned to Penarth. Engineering is one of the hardest subjects you can study, and it doesn't help when module content is disorganised, learning materials are messy and hard to follow, and when lecturers are too busy to respond to your questions.
