We have about 50 students in each of years 12 and 13. 26 of our Physics students gained grade As at AS Level in 2006. 48% A and A* at A2 Level in June 2011. This is twice the Welsh average which puts us at the top of tree. 67% A*,A or B in 2012 in my class.Three of my students have won the Institute of Physics prize for the highest A Level marks in Wales with several gaining 600/600. I graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2003 and a year later completed my post graduate certificate in Education at the same university. I am a full-time, highly experienced science tutor and academic mentor, specialising in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from GCSE through to undergraduate level. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, a postgraduate certificate in Higher Education Teaching, and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), I bring over two decades of expertise in high-level education.

My career spans senior teaching, research, and leadership positions across universities, independent sixth forms, and specialist schools. With over 20 years in science education, I have taught and led in diverse academic environments-ranging from Russell Group universities to top-performing schools and specialist SEN provisions. My background combines subject expertise, leadership experience, and a strong understanding of both mainstream and individualised educational pathways.

Working in research and teaching at several UK universities, I served as Head of Science and Academic Partnerships, where I led curriculum design, academic strategy, and cross-institutional collaborations. I taught Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, and Molecular Biology, and supervised undergraduate research and dissertations.

I'm a 4th year medical student with a strong passion for education and helping others achieve their goals. Alongside my medical studies, I've dedicated my time to tutoring students across different levels and backgrounds. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics and making learning an engaging and rewarding experience.

Teaching Experience:
I've tutored students from primary school all the way up to A-levels, covering subjects such as Maths, Science, and English.
