I was born and raised in Barcelona by a Spanish father and a French mother. I developed a strong interest in languages from a very young age as I learnt three languages as a child; Spanish, French, and Catalan at school. My mother who is a French teacher inspired me with her passion for teaching to further my studies to become a language teacher.

I am a graduate of the University of Huddersfield, where I studied 'Music and Sound For Image'. I achieved a first-class degree, as well as the 'Audio-visual prize' from my University for my work composing music to film.

I am confident, enthusiastic, friendly and get on well with students of all ages. I have worked at summer camps in the United States twice for 9 weeks each, living amongst 11-17 year olds 24/7 so have a great deal of patience! I focus on clarity, confidence, and progress. My sessions are tailored to each student ... I take time to understand how they think, where they get stuck, and how to build from there. My lessons are interactive and encouraging, with a strong emphasis on breaking down tricky concepts into steps that just make sense.

I've also developed a unique 'Belt System' ... inspired by martial arts....which turns GCSE maths into a structured journey of achievement. It helps students visualise their progress and take pride in every step forward. Many students arrive thinking maths is a subject they just have to get through .... they leave realising it's something they can actually feel proud of....
