I am a friendly and approachable musician, songwriter and singer. I have been involved in music for many years in solo, group and large ensemble capacties. Among many music courses I have attended, my training includes a Diploma in Popular Music Performance at the highly commended Tech Music School in London, and a Fist Class Honours degree in Music Technology with Popular Music Performance.
I have been fully CRB checked to work with children.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since 2001, initially primary and secondary aged students. This was performance based tutoring at weekend classes including some one to one sessions. I have done this in both Norfolk and London. I have also taught many one to one singing lessons with all ages between 6 and 65. I have since taught classes at college and degree level in various aspects of music, including performance music business history and theory.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to tailor my tutoring to each individual student's needs rather than using set lesson plans. My teaching style is based around enjoying the learning experience and building confidence. Hi, my name's Chris and I provide a guitar tuition service in and around Worcester. I offer both acoustic and electric guitar lessons for beginner and intermediate students of all ages. I teach a variety of styles and can tailor lessons to your own musical interests so that you're not only learning the music you love, but developing other essential skills in a relevant musical context.

Teaching Experience:
I have 12 years experience playing guitar and hold a joint-honours degree in music.

Tutoring Approach:
In addition to teaching you how to play the guitar, I can offer expertise in other areas of music. Having spent three years studying music at university, and being a writer myself, I can assist you with your own compositions, arrangements and songs. Likewise I can help with the sometimes precarious art of accompanying yourself as a singer! The focus of lessons is up to you, though equally if you're unsure of exactly what you'd like to learn I can offer plenty of options. A fixture in the London underground DJ community for over 10 years, I recently completed a BA in Music Production at BIMM London (1st degree honours awarded) whilst also holding a MLT in Teaching and Training.

I currently tutor at CM Sounds and Core Arts, both based in east London. Production projects have been varied and exciting with remixes and artist albums released on the original rave era label Kniteforce, and sync remix commissions for UMPG (Universal Music).
