I also give advices on how to review your course and learn your lesson. I'm great at giving advises for essays as I had to wrote one every week during 6h, during my prep school.

I am both an experienced teacher and performer, having performed at various festivals throughout the country. During the past five years I have taught a range of age groups from young school pupils to adults in both one to one lessons and group settings. I am a Chinese Student from University of Leicester. My major is Financial and Economic, but I have been learned Guzheng -Traditional Chinese Instrument 10 years and obtain the certification of 10 levels. Guzheng is a plucked, half-tube zither with movable bridges and 21 strings, and has a large resonant cavity made from wutong wood. The performer is able to differentiate between stronger melodic lines and softer accompaniment patterns by using finger plectra on the fingers of her right hand. This can also be used to give effective dynamic contrasts.

I'm a local musician playing piano and violin to a high level and want to continue to pass on my experience of playing an instrument to as many people as possible of all ages. There is no buzz like performing a piece of music in front of an audience however small and seeing how much they appreciate it at the end. I have taught privately alongside my day job since leaving university, as well as being musical director of New Mills Art Theatre for 5 years, and producing several church musicals but I'm now looking to expand this into a full time teaching roll in Rochdale

Tutoring Approach:
We can learn to play in many ways. If you simply want to be able to play a couple of tunes then we can learn parrot fashion in a relaxed and laid back way. If you want to learn to read music and work towards exams then we can take a more formal and traditional approach. I would encourage those who haven't played for some time to take a refresher course, and those with a long held desire to play an instrument to give me a call and see what we can do. Whichever way we learn or whatever your experience I take your progress very seriously, and I'm committed to seeing you improve over time.
