I currently work part-time in a secondary school in Surrey, and have previously in a Boys Grammar School in North Kent, as well as having enjoyed spells living in Quebec and Aix-en-Provence in the past. - In spring 2019 I attended a 3 month international advanced training course on the Lecoq pedagogy of movement theatre led by master Giovanni Fusetti in Padua, Italy, which incredibly deepened and refined my understanding of the student/teacher relation and enormously widened the ways I can adapt and carry out a class according to the personality and the needs/goals of the students. 430h of training.

- In 2008 I worked as a teaching assistant in a kindergarten in Reykjavk for 8 months. This kindergarten had a special program of integration between kids with special needs (especially hearing impaired ones) and kids with no special requirements, which showed to be very successful. I usually start with the current topics that student is studying in the school and explain to the student that topic and related background knowledge. My name is Kyriacos and I am originally from Cyprus but have been living in the UK for the past 12 years. In my day job I am a Chartered Electical Engineer and I love to teach Greek/Cypriot as a part time role, which I have been doing for a few years now.

I love to travel, learn about the world and expirience new cultures, I also love sports and music.

Teaching Experience:
I have a few years of experience in teaching Greek to casual learners, whether their goal is to be able to order some food in a restaurant or interested in learning the language more in depth.

I am comfortable with teaching students with no previous experience, advanced students and anything in between.

I am a qualified teacher with 15 year of experience. I have had the pleasure to help teenagers improve in Maths and achieve their best at exams.
I am currently teaching in a school part-time basis which gives me the time to teach a few hours online.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught the Bristish curriculum from Y4 to Y13 during the last 15 years in three different countries. I have been Head of the Maths faculty in two different schools for 4 and 2 years respectively.

Tutoring Approach:
I will need some information of students before the first lesson such as board and tier if GCSE, schemme of work if available, etc.
I will adapt the resources and the level to each student. Students will need a computer/laptop, notebook, calculator, fully equipped pencil case.

I am a friendly and experienced maths teacher and an examiner for Edexcel A level. I currently teach GCSE, A level and Further Maths. I have an excellent track record of helping my students perform at their best and will help students develop the confidence and specific skills they need to achieve their potential. My experience of being an examiner helps me in preparing students for their papers, so they are fully prepared for what they need to do to be successful.
