I have much experience teaching Latin. I taught Latin to two undergraduate classes at the University of Edinburgh in 2015-2016. I'm a writer, composer, director and artist, and prizewinning History finalist at the University of Oxford, with experience of a broad range of learning environments and teaching styles, and substantial industry experience in music and the creative arts. I'm a patient and considerate teacher and hope to bridge the gap that often plagues students in mathematics. I promise to be a good tutor and guide during some of the most formative and decisive years of your life.

Tutoring Approach:
My focus is on building the skills and concepts learnt at school through one-to-one 45-minute tutoring/grinds or small group lessons.

I aim to give an individual-focused approach. The lessons will focus on student's previous work and aim to improve skills and concepts already established. Great effort will be given to finding real world examples to motivate the exercises and to grasp or master a topic. The student will be encouraged to work out exercise in the tutor's presence and correct flaws or improve methods themselves.

I am willing to meet in Canterbury or give online lessons via Microsoft Apps such as OneNote, Whiteboard, and Teams.

I cover the GCSE curriculum as well as the pure Maths and Statistics aspects of A Level.

I am also available for university maths for 1st year and general maths tutoring for STEM subjects.

Personal Description:
I'm a French student living in Edinburgh. I just graduated 2 licences, one in Film Studies and on in English literature. I also just finished 3 years of prep school. During those years, I was prepared to go into the highest French literature school. I specialised my studies into cinema during those 3 years. Therefore, I can teach everything related to art, literature and subjects that are close to it.

I'm really kind and like to know the people I'm teaching to. I like sports (Handball mostly), music (did 10 years of music school), reading and going to movies.

Teaching Experience:
I already teach music to younger students in my music school (4 years).
I used to tutor students thanks to a tutoring program in my prep school. (3 years)
I coached younger players during my latest handball years. (2 years)

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring depends on the age of the student. For example, for my youngest students, I like to play games to make them learn.
I don't mind repeating myself and know how to explain things in different ways.
My approach is to make increase skills by yourself by unlocking or deblocking things you thought you didn't understand.
I also give advices on how to review your course and learn your lesson. I'm great at giving advises for essays as I had to wrote one every week during 6h, during my prep school.
For every language's subject, I favour speaking and listening to oral comprehension in order to increase your skills.
