My name is Ewan, I'm 36 years old and from Glasgow. After completing my BA (Hons) in Glasgow, I moved to Manchester to do a Master's in History; subsequently I completed my PGCE, MA in Education, and an MBA. Throughout this further study I have ran a History department, Humanities Faculty, and now run a Sixth Form College. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping pupils develop confidence in their learning.

Teaching Experience:
I have worked as a private tutor for children aged 5-16, supporting them across English, Mathematics, and Science at different levels of education and exam boards. My tutoring experience builds on several years of leadership and mentoring roles, from supervising youth choirs to coordinating university projects. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles and create a supportive, engaging environment for pupils.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is patient and understanding, tailored to each individual pupil. Having recently graduated, I am fully up to date with school curriculums in both England and Scotland, understanding the challenges pupils face at different stages of their education. I aim to make learning enjoyable and accessible, building both subject knowledge and confidence so that students can achieve their full potential.
