We will also review the vocabulary or grammar learnt in the previous lesson. I always create exercises that are useful for students to practice different skills. For example, I will share videos for listening and understanding or we would start a conversation after reading a text. I will also introduce a topic in each lesson, so my students can learn new vocabulary and grammar through different activities. I worked for 31 years as a teacher of Modern Greek at the Athens College (Greece).
My duties involved:
Interpreting, designing and implementing learning programmes and curricula.
Creating an effective assessment framework for staff.
Delivering lessons in English or/and Greek to students from different cultures, backgrounds and age groups.
Collecting data and track progress of the students.
Establishing and recording policies and procedures, managing and facilitating flow of essential information
